It shouldn’t shock anyone that with the season the Texas Tech Red Raiders have had this year that Red Raider head coach Joey McGuire might appreciate an opportunity to get his players as healthy as possible.
Given the injuries that Texas Tech has had to navigate, any possible way of reducing injury risk would seem like a pretty high priority for McGuire and the Red Raiders. That seems especially topical when looking at the quarterback picture for Texas Tech given that Behren Morton isn’t fully healthy and his backup Will Hammond Jr. is out for the rest of the season.
