For me, one of the most exciting things from Texas Tech’s thrilling and headline-grabbing offseason was the addition of Mack Leftwich to be the new offensive coordinator of the Red Raiders. And it’s not that Zach Kittley was a bad offensive coordinator for the Red Raiders, but rather I’m just fascinated to see how Leftwich’s system works with the talent in Lubbock.
Between the vertical passing routes, the tempo, and the way the Red Raiders will be attacking defenses all throughout the season, it’s going to give Texas Tech plenty of opportunities for big plays.
However, if the Red Raiders aren’t executing effectively, there’s going to be an abundance of opportunities for opposing defenses to take advantage of Texas Tech’s mistakes and mishaps.
