Texas Tech running back DeAndre Washington will have plenty of company when it comes to celebrating his and the Red Raiders’ noteworthy offensive performance this season.
Washington, offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark and receiver-return man Jakeem Grant all are first-team honorees on The Associated Press All-Big 12 football team released Wednesday after voting by media who cover the league.
Washington leads the Big 12 with 1,455 rushing yards, the most by a Tech back in 17 years, and his linemen shared the spotlight. Clark, his left tackle, made first-team All-Big 12 for the third year in a row.
