Yesterday, Texas Tech board of regents announced the changes coming to Texas Tech Athletics home sporting events. The regents finally heard the fans pleas and they have approved the sale of beer and wine in the general seating area. Hallelujah! But wait, there’s more! They have also vowed to increase security at all sporting events and facilities, enhance the tailgating experience with food trucks and live bands, improve internet and signal connections, and lower concession prices. Per Texas Tech’s Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt, the purpose of these changes is to enhance the overall experience for fans.
