Thomas, the two-time all-America middle linebacker at Texas Tech, received the ultimate recognition Tuesday night. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame during the National Football Foundation’s annual awards dinner at the Waldorf Astoria New York.
“I wasn’t the biggest,” Thomas said at a news conference earlier Tuesday. “I wasn’t the fastest. I wasn’t the strongest, and I definitely wasn’t the smartest.
