To wrap-up our rankings, we take a look at the top-five Texas Tech coaches in program history. This list will begin with a coach who was leader of the Red Raiders for almost an entire decade.

5. Dell Morgan

Morgan coached the Red Raiders from 1941-50. He was named Border Conference Coach of the Year in 1949, but his greatest achievement were his four conference titles, which is tied for best in school history. His overall record as coach was 55-49-3 and he went 23-3-1 in conference play.

4. Ewing Y. Freeland

Freeland was Texas Tech's first coach.
