Texas Tech's offseason coaching turnover leaves offensive coordinator as rising star assistant

For several assistant coaches roaming Texas Tech's football training facility, it is their first season with the Red Raiders.

Defensive line coach Kevin Patrick, running backs coach DeShaun Foster, defensive backs coach Karl Scott and special teams coach Joe Robinson are all in their inaugural seasons with the Red Raiders and have barely had time to learn their personnel group, much less stake their claim as Texas Tech's rising star assistant.
