Texas Tech has been invited to play in the Advocare Texas Bowl vs #20 LSU.
The matchup will be just the third time the two teams have faced each other, with LSU winning the previous two matchups. Don't worry though, the previous two games took place in the 1950s with 20 points being the most scored by either team in either matchup.
LSU defeated Tech 20-13 in 1954 and 19-14 in 1957.
The Texas Bowl is to be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, on December 29th at 8pm.
Tech has won its last 4 bowl games with wins over Michigan St, Northwestern, Minnesota and Arizona St.
