Texas Tech's lone draft pick was Patrick Mahomes in the first round tying a school-high placement at No. 10 by the Kansas City Chiefs.
Davis, a former Red Raider receiver, was signed by the runner-ups in this year's Super Bowl, the Atlanta Falcons.
