The Red Raiders, who finished 5-7 last year, have some issues to address on defense -- especially with the suspension of two of their key returners in defensive back Damarcus Fields and defensive lineman Joseph Wallace -- but still have to get the job done on offense.
Spring practice is underway, and Tech has a viable candidate at signal caller to get the Red Raiders attack going. Here is one potential breakout candidate for the Red Raiders this spring:

Year: Sophomore
Position: QB
Tech turned to Bowman early in his career to start taking snaps as a true freshman in 2018.
