With National Signing Day just around the corner, here are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to the Red Raiders:
Is Velton Gardner still coming to Texas Tech?
On Nov. 10, Skyline quarterback Velton Gardner announced via Twitter that he was committing to Texas Tech just two days after de-committing from Kansas State.
However, that was when Kliff Kingsbury was still the Red Raiders' head coach. He has since been fired and Matt Wells has taken over his post.
While Gardner is still committed to Texas Tech, he remains unsigned and SportsDay contributor EJ Holland reports that he is still looking hard at Houston.
