Highland (Ariz.) punter Austin McNamara gave the Red Raiders a verbal commitment this week.
He announced his decision on Twitter.
McNamara picked Texas Tech over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Missouri, Nebraska and Utah State.
At 6-foot-4, 165 pounds, McNamara is ranked as the No. 1 punter in the country, per 247Sports Composite.
Texas Tech now holds 16 commitments in its 2019 recruiting class, which is ranked eighth in the Big 12.
