This time out, it was a little easier.
Rayven Brooks hit a pair on early 3-pointers en route to 12 points in the first half to lead Texas Tech past Arkansas-Pine Bluff 84-40 on Sunday at United Supermarkets Arena.
The Lady Raiders (9-2) struggled out of the gate in identical 15-point wins over Incarnate Word and Grambling State.
But, that wasn’t a problem Sunday.
Texas Tech went on a 9-0 run, highlighted by a Dayo Olabode 3, to take a 21-8 run and didn’t look back. The Lady Raiders also closed the half on a 14-4 run, stretching their lead past 20 points, as they hit 5 of 12 from beyond the arc in the half.
