Texas Tech remains unbeaten as the Red Raiders use 2nd half surge to crush Kansas

Joey McGuire and the Texas Tech Red Raiders handled business once again. While Texas Tech was once again challenged and had to navigate an injury to its starting quarterback in a game against a tough Big 12 opponent, the Red Raiders managed to still walk away with a lopsided and incredibly dominant win following a second half surge.

This is a game where Texas Tech claimed an 18-0 lead in the first quarter, and then extended that lead out to 21-0, then entered halftime at 21-17.

And while the Red Raiders managed to lose some momentum in the middle of the game with their lead getting trimmed in considerable fashion, Texas Tech still bounced back well en route to a lopsided 42-17 win at Jones AT&T Stadium.
