Joey McGuire and the Texas Tech Red Raiders really needed to make a statement on Saturday when they welcomed the Mike Gundy-less Oklahoma State Cowboys to Lubbock. Thankfully, that’s exactly what the Red Raiders did.
Texas Tech was able to go out and score in all three phases of the game and secured a 42-0 win over the Cowboys.
Now, it’s worth noting that quarterback Will Hammond did get dinged up and the Red Raiders as a whole just didn’t look perfect (especially on the offensive side of things, Texas Tech was definitely a little clunky on offense).
