This past weekend 4-star quarterback Avery Davis committed to Notre Dame. Texas Tech was targeting Davis and looked to be in the highly sought after recruit's top 3 but after a visit to South Bend he committed to the Fighting Irish. As of now the Red Raiders have Xavier Martin committed for their 2017 recruiting class. Martin played wide receiver at Cibolo Steele before stepping in at QB this past season. This past weekend Martin competed in the Rivals QB Challenge in Dallas and proved that he can for sure play quarterback but some still wonder if he'll play QB or switch to another position in college.
