Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes and Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield are among 18 semifinalists for the Davy O'Brien Award announced Thursday.
Clemson's Deshaun Watson, last season's winner, also made the cut. Texas A&M's Trevor Knight and Mississippi's Chad Kelly were among the semifinalists, although each will miss the rest of the regular season with injuries.
