Texas Tech 2016 quarterback commit Jett Duffy has led his Mansfield Lake Ridge High School team to an undefeated regular season. Along the way, he has put up impressive individual statistics that should excite Texas Tech fans.
After this week’s 53-7 annihilation of Arlington’s Seguin High School, the Lake Ridge Eagles are the No. 1 seed from district 14-5A just three years after the program suffered a 0-10 season in 2012.
The division crown was secured in week nine’s victory over cross-town rival Mansfield Summit. As he has been all season, Duffey was the star in Lake Ridge’s 55-35 win against a Summit team that also entered the game undefeated.
