Well, one of the most impressive first half plays for the Red Raiders didn’t come from the incredible Texas Tech offense or that strong Texas Tech defense. Arguably the most impressive play from the first half plays came from Stone Harrington, Texas Tech’s kicker.
Texas Tech’s offense just kept running into issues and couldn’t sustain drives against Utah’s stifling defense. But, the Red Raiders did get within striking distance, getting to the Utah 40-yard line before the drive stalled out.
With 48 seconds left in the second quarter against the Utah Utes, Texas Tech found itself leading 7-0 and facing a 4th-and-11 sort of situation.
