No matter what Texas Tech did, West Texas A&M wasn’t going away.
It wasn’t until halfway through the second half that the Red Raiders got the separation they’d been working for all game long.
Texas Tech was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor, including 2-for-2 from the perimeter, to gain an 11-point edge.
Despite fighting back for most of the game, the Buffaloes couldn’t make it happen a fourth time as the Red Raiders took the 91-74 victory Monday night at United Supermarkets Arena.
Most of the Buffaloes’ success happened beyond the 3-point line.
After the Red Raiders took an early 6-0 lead, the Buffaloes took the lead off four-straight 3-pointers.
