Sad news coming out of Lubbock, Texas today. Incoming freshman Defensive Lineman John Scott III was shot at the Park East Apartments near downtown Lubbock. He remains in the hospital and his condition is unknown at this time. The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 P.M. this evening.

There were two people shot during this incident and the identity and condition of the other person injured is also unknown at this time.
