The Texas Tech football team is now under two weeks away from kicking off the Matt Wells era against Montana State. So as expected, the excitement for Red Raider football is starting to build.
Earlier this week, Wells and his players helped stir some extra goodwill amongst their fellow students by showing up at the campus dorms to help freshmen move in. It was a great gesture from a program that has lost touch with a huge portion of the student body over the last decade and it provided some great Twitter content as well.
This is just the latest example of Wells attempting to do whatever he can to help his program reconnect with the community.
