Whitehouse, Texas wide receiver Cameron Cantrell verbally pledged to the Texas Tech football program Monday. He made his decision known via Twitter.
This commitment may have been one of the easiest in the career of Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury. After all, Cantrell has been a familiar face around the program for the past four years while his older brother Dylan has been playing wide receiver for the Red Raiders.
But just because Cantrell is a family legacy, do not underestimate him as a quality prospect. 247Sports.com rates him as a 3-star prospect and one of the top 100 wide receiver recruits in the naiton for 2019.
