Like the Texas Tech football program, Kansas State is in year one of a rebuild following the departure of a beloved head coach. But at 6-4, it appears that the Wildcats are off to a better start under their new head coach Chris Klieman than the Red Raiders are under Matt Wells.
A college football coach since he graduated from Northern Iowa in 1990, the 52-year old has spent his entire coaching career in the midwest with stops at Western Illinois, Kansas, Missouri State, and his alma mater, as well as a tiny school in Iowa named Loras College.
