There was once a time when the top recruiting period of the football calendar was in the summer when prospects had plenty of time to take visits and participate in camps put on by programs they were interested in. But the implementation of the late December signing window has sped up the process for many of the top players in the nation and now, spring has become a prime window during which Texas Tech likes to bring tons of targets to Lubbock.
