Saturday afternoon, as the Texas Tech Red Raiders welcomed the Oklahoma State Cowboys to Lubbock, the Texas Tech football program also welcomed one of the greatest to ever play for them back to town. And in addition to the warm welcome that Graham Harrell received from the Red Raider fans, Texas Tech also honored him by inducting the legendary quarterback into the Texas Tech Ring of Honor.
There aren’t many players to get that sort of recognition. Prior to today, just 11 Texas Tech football players have been placed in the Ring of Honor. And now, one of the most prolific passers that college football has ever seen has made his way into that select group.
