One of the best recruits in the 2027 recruiting cycle might be arriving in Lubbock a bit sooner than expected. LaDamion Guyton, the top recruit for the 2027 class and a Texas Tech commit, has reclassified and is now a member of Texas Tech’s 2026 recruiting class.
Guyton is from Georgia and has very clearly drawn plenty of very significant interest from prominent programs in the South like the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, South Carolina Gamecocks. But then there’s also the national recruiting push from teams like the USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks, Miami Hurricanes, and such.
And right now, it looks like Guyton is going to be joining the Red Raiders.
