Texas Tech’s road trip to face off against the Arizona State Sun Devils sure didn’t go according to plan for Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders. Without Behren Morton as the starting quarterback, and with a truly perplexing offensive game plan, the Red Raiders came up short on the road vs. Arizona State.
Texas Tech’s offense gained just 276 yards of total offense, had a majestic total of 109 rushing yards, and simply couldn’t move the ball through the air, to the tune of 167 passing yards on a 58 percent completion percentage.
That’s just not going to deliver a win on a lot of occasions.
