1. Red Raider of the Game
Sophomore infielder Orlando Garcia went 2-3 on the day as well as 2 walks. He started the scoring on a bases clearing 2-run triple in the 2nd inning and gave Tech a chance to take the lead in the 10th with a 2-out walk. He accounted for 2 of the teams 7 hits on the day, in which the offense was relatively quiet.

Tech went into the bottom of the 9th with a 5-4 lead and usual stalwart Hayden Howard allowed 2 doubles to let UNM tie the game.
