Freshman Davis Martin was again rock steady on a Friday night. He is now 8-0, the only freshman pitcher in the nation with at least 8 wins while staying undefeated. He pitched 5 strong innings, giving up only 5 hits and 2 runs. After 14 appearances this year, Davis has allowed 18 runs on 51 hits over 60.1 innings to back Tech to a win on every Big 12 series opener this year.
