Texas Tech defeats Fordham 62-48
Texas Tech defeated Fordham 62-48 at the South Point Shootout in Las Vegas Friday evening.
Texas Tech (4-0) only allowed 18 Fordham (2-2) second-half points after leading 34-30 at halftime.
The Lady Raiders were led for the second-straight game by Dayo Olabode, who scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
The turning point of the game occurred when Olabode banked in a desperation three-pointer as the shot clock expired to give Tech a 58-48 lead with less than a minute and a half remaining.
