Though all eyes will be on Matt Wells and the Texas Tech football team as they kick off the 2019 season on Saturday, as usual, Chris Beard will be putting in some serious work as well. That’s because the Texas Tech basketball program is set to host 4-star guard/forward Micah Peavy from Duncanville for a critical official visit this weekend according to Carlos Silva Jr. of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
The 6-foot-5, 175-pounder teamed up with current Red Raider freshman Jahmi’us Ramsey last season to help bring the 6-A state title to Duncanville. Now, the Red Raiders hope that tandem will reunite in Lubbock and take the Red Raiders to the heights of the college game.
