The Texas Tech basketball program is making the most of its newfound success. Already with arguably the best recruiting class in program history on campus, Chris Beard has added another jewel to his haul.
Thursday, 4-star point guard Kevin McCullar announced his intention to sign with the Red Raiders making him the second 2018 prospect to commit to Texas Tech this week. Monday, power forward Josh Mballa also joined the Texas Tech recruiting class signing his letter of intent.
Now, Beard may have put the 2018 class to rest with arguably his biggest victory. McCullar is a 6-foot-6, 180-pound guard from San Antonio who is widely considered to be the best point guard in Texas despite the fact that he is just a junior.
