After the Texas Tech baseball team opened the weekend by sweeping four games against Houston Baptist and Northern Colorado by a combined score of 65-11, we weren’t certain just what to make of Tim Tadlock’s team. Certainly, that domination was impressive but the level of competition was most definitely lacking.
That’s why Red Raider fans were so interested to find out what the Round Rock Classic would have in store this past weekend. Now, after Tech was able to go 2-1 against Tennessee, Stanford, and Houston we have a better idea of where this team stands.
Friday night, the weekend didn’t get off to a great start as the Volunteers took down the Red Raiders 6-2.
