Today was senior day in Lubbock as Keenan Evans, Zach Smith, Justin Gray, Tommy Hamilton and Niem Stevenson were all honored. Coach Beard consistently talked about the joy he has had coaching these players and how he looks forward to being with them as long as he can as postseason play begins next week. He said these seniors have helped make great strides in the overall program.
Evans said he remembers losing on his senior night in high school and not wanting the same to happen at Tech. Gray said his four years in the program have been everything he dreamed and wished of.
