With Zhaire Smith getting into foul trouble early, the Red Raiders needed others to step up. That was exactly the case as Justin Gray, Niem Stevenson and Davide Moretti combined for 20 of the Red Raiders 30 points in the first half. Tech closed the first half on a 10-0 run and made six of its final seven shots. Gray was really aggressive with his shot in the opening half, working with the one dribble pull up. That has been his bread and butter all season. Gray would finish with a great game on both ends of the floor, finishing with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
