The Texas Tech defense is improving.
They forced five punts two turnovers against Texas and came up with several stops in the fourth quarter.
Unfortunately, it still isn’t good enough.
D’Onta Foreman still ran for an FBS season-high 341 yards. The Longhorns ran for 414 and had 658 total yards in their 45-37 win on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
“He’s a tremendous back,” Texas Tech Kliff Kingsbury said. “We knew he would get his, but I thought they played well enough defensively at times, they stood up and had some unbelievable plays to get us the ball, with a chance to win the game over and over and over, and offensively we kept floundering and not getting it done.
