The 6-foot, 232-pound linebacker is a three-star prospect and the country’s No. 68 linebacker in the Class of 2019, according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings. Robinson led Sachse's defense in tackles last season, and the unit allowed just five opponents to score in double digits and posted two shutouts.
Robinson, whose oral commitment is non-binding, is the second Sachse linebacker to commit to the Red Raiders since 2017, joining former teammate Riko Jeffers.
When he announced his decision on Monday, Robinson had received eight offers, including from UTSA, Texas State and North Texas, according to 247Sports. Texas Tech was the only Power Five program on the list.
