Reports: Tech ex Crabtree agrees to terms with Raiders

Crabtree, Raiders
agree to contract

Former Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree agreed to contract terms with the Oakland Raiders, deciding to cross the bay after six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN.com and NFL.com reported the agreement Monday night, citing unnamed sources. Crabtree also announced it on his confirmed Twitter page.

The former Tech star caught 68 passes for 698 yards and four touchdowns last season. His best year was 2012, when he had 85 receptions for 1,105 yards and nine TDs — career highs in each category.

But he suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in May 2013 and played in only five games that season.
