Though the Red Raiders have not officially announced their interests, Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports Texas Tech will return to Midland for a fourth-straight year during its upcoming spring football practice schedule.
"While a decision may not have been yet, I would anticipate we will have a spring practice in Midland," Hocutt told the Avalanche-Journal, "but our spring football game will be at Jones AT&T Stadium. So I anticipate that while we haven't formalized maybe everything or announced it, that we will be returning to Midland for a spring football practice."
Texas Tech did not host a spring football game in Lubbock last season because of stadium construction.
