There are many ways to lose a game, but this L to Oklahoma really bothers me. It really does because it had to be a W. Straight, clean, and simple (Anne Murray, 1971).
But when your starting quarterback and your best linebacker have to leave the game, you understand there’s nothing to do. Let’s be clear, I’m not saying Jett Duffey is responsible for this loss, but with Bowman and Allen available for the entire game, things could be different.
Do you remember the game against West Virginia? A quarterback injury in the middle of the game and a loss, not very different from this one with the Sooners.
