While we sit the middle of another college football offseason, SportsDay is reviewing the most recent recruiting classes for our local schools.
Here is a look at the Texas Tech Red Raiders' 2017 signees.
Best player in the class: Dakota Allen, LB
This isn't really fair since Allen was far from a regular recruit in this class. Texas Tech got Allen back after his season at East Mississippi Community College. Allen had a promising first season at Texas Tech in 2015, but was kicked off the team after burglary charges. He led the team in tackles this season in his return, and was a team captain on Texas Tech's revamped defense.
