Jonathan Giles announced on Twitter that he will be searching for a new university to attend as he plans on transferring from Texas Tech.
Giles said he thanks Texas Tech Athletic Director and coach Kliff Kingsbury on the time he has spent as a Red Raider.
Giles led the team in receiving last year as he posted 1,158 receiving yards, on 69 receptions with 13 touchdowns.
Giles said on Twitter that he discussed the decision with his family, and he will always have a special place in his heart for Texas Tech.
He had a breakout sophomore season after only 15 receptions his first year in 2015.
