Red Raider offense much get physical before Saturday
Ondre Pipkins brought physicality to the Texas Tech defense.
In his first action the transfer from Michigan led the Red Raiders with five tackles in their 69-17 win over Stephen F. Austin Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
“I thought early (Pipkins and fellow transfer Kolin Hill) really were a force in there, jamming up the middle on some of those runs and winning their one-on-one battles and that was good,” Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury said. They are two big, physical tough guys. They play with a chip on their shoulder.
