Behren Morton is officially back as the starting quarterback for the Texas Tech football team as the Red Raiders have hit the road to Manhattan, Kansas to take on Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats this weekend.
And the offense in Lubbock hasn’t been perfect since Morton’s been sidelined with some injury issues as of late. Things have been bumpy in the past few weeks and Texas Tech’s vertical passing game has needed some help.
With Morton back in the starting lineup for the Red Raiders as he is now available and backup quarterback Will Hammond has been sidelined for the remainder of the season with an injury issue of his own, it sounds like Texas Tech offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich is looking forward to seeing how the Red Raider passing attack develops.
