LUBBOCK, Texas – From the highly anticipated buildup to the start of the season to a quick turnaround to what's next, No. 19 Texas Tech is set to host Bethune-Cookman at 8 p.m. on Thursday in its second game of the week and season at United Supermarkets Arena. The Red Raiders (1-0) are coming off a 76-42 season-opening win over Jackson State while the Wildcats (0-1) took a 79-70 loss at Furman on Monday night.
"It was great to get under the USA lights and play in front of our home crowd," Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland said.
