While Grant McCasland and the Texas Tech Red Raiders no longer have JT Toppin to help lead them this season, that doesn’t mean that the No. 16 ranked team in the country is incapable of going out and beating up on conference opponents.
The Red Raiders, in their second game without Toppin leading things, managed to take care of business against the Cincinnati Bearcats and their smothering defense. Unsurprisingly, Christian Anderson took over this game in its entirety and scorched the Bearcats as he put up 31 points and a career high 11 rebounds to go with seven assists.
