Coming in with arguably the best defensive lineman in Ed Oliver and a proficient quarterback in D’Eriq King, Houston was seeking revenge. True freshman Alan Bowman led the Red Raider offense alongside another true freshman in running back Ta’Zhawn Henry. Henry, with four touchdowns on the day, was eclipsed by notable wide receiver Antoine Wesley who set a single-game record for his 261 yards on 13 receptions.
