One of the more contested and debated entrants in the 2025-2026 College Football Playoff (largely because of the weird tiebreaker situation in the ACC that kept the Hurricanes out of the conference championship game over there and paved the way for former Miami head coach Manny Diaz and Duke to win the ACC championship), the Miami Hurricanes have been a bit streaky at times this season.
This is a team that started off strong, winning five in a row (including a few blowouts) before stumbling and losing two of three in the middle of October to early November.
