Coach Stollings waltzed to 3-0 on the season in the most ironic way possible: by beating an opponent by 30 points. The Lady Raiders were led by Brittany Brewer, who tallied yet another double-double this season (that’s three in as many games), by putting up 23 points and 10 rebounds. Brewer was also on a defensive tear by blocking seven shots from the Northwestern State devils; she’s had 5+ in each game so far.
Backing Brewer up was Sydney Goodson with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Goodson has been exceptional for the Lady Raiders so far this season and even more so defensively, getting four steals in Tech’s 26 turnovers against the Devils.
